ALEXEI ȚURCAN

Alexei Țurcan is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose artistic activity bridges music creation, studio production, and interdisciplinary collaborations. He composed the soundtrack for the documentary “Wild Romania”, which received the GOPO Award for Best Original Music in 2022, and has been involved in numerous film, theater, and multimedia productions.

As the founder of UNDA Recording Studio, Alexei has worked with artists and bands such as Mădălina Pavăl Orchestra, Vama, Alexandrina, Silent Strike, among many others, while as a member of Travka and Tomma Alistar, he contributed significantly to shaping Romania’s alternative scene. His musical vision ranges widely — from electronic and experimental to indie, orchestral, and cinematic soundscapes.
