L'ENCORE

L'Encore is an alternative rock band from Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, formed in 2024. Strongly influenced by both the Moldovan and Romanian alternative rock scenes, the band combines the spirit of classic alternative rock with a desire to develop its own distinctive sound.

Their journey began with their first live performance at Rock'n Haret in 2024, marking the start of an ongoing artistic exploration and the search for a unique musical identity. Drawing inspiration from some of the region's most influential alternative acts, L'Encore approaches songwriting with honesty, emotion and youthful energy.

In 2025, the band released its debut single, “9 Minute După Apus” (“9 Minutes After Sunset”), a track that outlines the group's artistic direction and signals the beginning of a new chapter. The same year, the members took part in Roca Camp, a development programme dedicated to emerging artists, while also performing at events such as Beer Mania.

Still at the beginning of their journey, L'Encore represents one of the promising new voices of Chișinău's alternative scene, building a musical universe that connects the legacy of previous generations with the perspective of a new wave of artists.
