HVNDS
BIO
HVNDS is a modern metal band from Romania, known for a sound that blends aggression with emotion, as well as for intense live performances designed to engage the audience from the very first beat.
The band gained momentum with the release of Animal (2022), which reached number 1 on Apple Music Romania (Rock) and was launched in front of a sold-out audience of over 1,000 people. The single “Vin Viu Plec Mort” marked a key moment, being featured in the film Teambuilding, one of the most successful Romanian productions in recent years.
Animal was followed by Sintetic, whose release concert was also sold out. The single “Suflet”, featuring Delia, opened the path towards collaborations with mainstream Romanian artists.
HVNDS has performed on the stages of major festivals such as Electric Castle, Untold, Neversea and Beach, Please!, sharing lineups with international acts like Bring Me The Horizon, Travis Scott, Massive Attack and Iggy Pop.
More recently, the track “BLOOD” reached number 1 in alternative radio charts, while “DOR”, the most aggressive entry in Romania’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, finished second in the final, highlighting the band’s ability to bring heavy music to a broader audience without compromising its identity.
Today, HVNDS is recognised for live shows that combine sonic impact with carefully crafted performance dynamics and for music that manages to be both raw and vulnerable at the same time. HVNDS does not perform for the audience, but draws them into a state they already recognise, even if it is their first time listening.
