HELDA

Helda is an alternative rock trio from Craiova, built around the belief that music does not need to fit existing templates in order to connect with people. Their work embraces artistic freedom, turning every performance into a space where emotion, vulnerability and raw energy coexist under the same spotlight.

Established in its current form in 2023, Helda has developed a distinctive identity through powerful live performances, an authentic sound driven by analogue instruments and amplifiers, and a refusal to be confined to a single genre. Their influences range from classic rock and blues-rock to alternative, progressive rock and contemporary sounds.

Fronted by Andrei Ciurez, the band has spent the past years refining what they describe as “the art of musical chemistry”, creating a genuine connection between musicians and audience through every performance.

Helda has quickly gained recognition on Romania’s emerging rock scene, earning awards at major competitions, including distinctions at Constelații Rock and the Grand Prize at Posada Rock Festival.

For Helda, music is the moment when dreams, distortion and fragility become part of the same story. A journey that is only just beginning.
