Hey! I'm Donisan, a young artist and DJ, a "munchie" in electronic music. My interest in electronic music started around 2008 when I got to know Berlin and the vast music of this city, while I had access to the music scene and various clubs and artists, listening and having the opportunity to experiment with different musical genres.
While I lived and studied in Frankfurt, I also got the musical desk in clubs like Silbergold, TanzhausWest, Free Cellar, and often organized raves with other local artists in the field of electronic music and jazz. In the country, I remained under the radar through numerous venues in Iași, Cluj, Alba Iulia and locally in Rădăuți. It was that underground vibe.
Over time, the music scene changed, and the job reduced the late nights and the after-party tinnitus. Later, I created and became the host of the show Brutăria lu' Donisan on Radio Hit Iași, through which I brought closer to the listener, both local and national artists, sets and live acts that aim to offer a study of electronic music, a mini encyclopedia from which the current generation can be inspired, develop a correct taste and know how to appreciate good electronic music. And to promote the local scene! Now further away from Iași, but still cookin'
Along with Cosmopop GmbH, I have been collaborating for almost 10 years on the annual organization of the TimeWarp festival, an electronic music marathon with notoriety in Germany.
Back home in the country, I still love Iași and I still spin records at Acaju, Rocanotherworld, Showberry, RiseOut and underground events or afterhour sessions at venues in the city.
Whether it's deep, electronic, funky, groove or disco, the music and influence I bring to vinyl or digital is called house and everyone is welcome to my sets.
