Call for artists Rocanotherworld 2023
Intro
The organizers of Rocanotherworld, Asociația Industrii Creative, in partnership with the leading supporter of the 2023 edition, Kaufland Romania, launches the call for artistic projects The Human Touch at Rocanotherworld.
We offer support for sustainable art projects through which we strive to reuse uncommon materials, waste, and unusable objects for artistic installations. Those eligible to apply for our open call are young artists, self-employed professionals, independent artists, students, and residents of Romania.
Theme
The theme of the present call is Human touch. The human touch is something that we missed since the latest health crisis in one way or another, and it is time that we celebrate it as we all see fit. It is about the way we connect, about the vibrations which keep the story going, about the energy owned and created by us as a group. It is about that genius spark, about that touch we have been craving for. It is how we celebrate humane beauty, regardless of its form.
The winner receives a total grant of 7500 RON *(recomand suma în euro)* for an art installation made of sustainable and recycled materials, as the present call requires (this grant includes the production budget). The installation will be exhibited during the 8th edition of Rocanotherworld, on the 22th-25th of June 2023 in Iași, where the festival takes place.
