A-C LEONTE

JUNE 20, 2026 – MAIN STAGE

BIO

A-C Leonte and Alex Arcuș present an audiovisual experience situated at the crossroads of contemporary jazz, ambient, world music and sonic experimentation.

Born out of an artistic residency held in churches across Transylvania, the project explores the relationship between space, nature, memory and sound. Drawing inspiration from the acoustics of each location and the surrounding landscapes, the two artists have developed a distinctive artistic language in which voice, violin, saxophone, flute, traditional wind instruments, live looping and electronics coexist in a fluid dialogue between the organic and the digital.

Each performance is created in real time, becoming an immersive experience where composition, improvisation and live processing intertwine with projections and video mapping, transforming the venue into a living organism. In its full format, the visual component is developed by multimedia artist Andrei Cozlac, whose interventions further enhance the relationship between music, light and architecture.

More than a concert, the project offers a sensory and contemplative experience — a journey through sonic and visual landscapes that invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply and reconnect with space, nature and their own inner rhythm.

The line-up presented at Rocanotherworld brings together:

A-C Leonte — vocals, violin, live looping, FX
Alex Arcuș — saxophone, flute, caval, FX
Andrei Cozlac — live visuals & video mapping

Over the past years, the project has been presented at festivals and unconventional venues across Romania and Europe, including Deva Jazz Festival, Chișinău Jazz Fest, Waha Festival, Skodra Jazz Festival (Albania), Jazz Cave Festival, the Palace of Culture in Iași, the Weavers' Bastion in Brașov, the Butchers' Bastion in Sighișoara, the Fortified Church of Richiș and Apafi Manor.
