As part of this year’s edition, Rocanotherworld Festival is introducing a new community-driven event. On Saturday, 20 June 2026, organizers invite participants to join a non-competitive charity run open to everyone who wishes to combine physical activity with a meaningful gesture of support for stray animals in Iași.
Unlike traditional races, Rocanotherworld Community Run will feature no official timing, rankings, or performance-based prizes. Instead, the focus is on connection, positive energy, and social involvement in a relaxed setting on the hills of Gramma Wines in Bârnova.
All registration fees will be donated in full to “Ai Cumva o Păturică?” (“Do You Happen to Have a Blanket?”), an initiative dedicated to raising funds and collecting resources for animal shelters in Iași County. This partnership reflects Rocanotherworld’s core values of curiosity, inclusion, and social responsibility, reinforcing the belief that a festival can be more than a cultural event—it can also be a force for good within the community.

Route and Race Categories
Participants will complete a loop of approximately 1 km within the festival grounds (full route details available at plotaroute.com/route/3311626).
Three race categories will start simultaneously at 10:00 AM:
• 1 km – Warm-up Run – 1 lap – suitable for everyone, including participants with no running experience
• 3 km – Community Run – 3 laps – the main event of the day
• 5 km – Good Vibes Run – 5 laps – designed for those who want to spend more time being active and start the day full of energy

Registration is open until Thursday, 18 June, at 12:00 PM through the form available on the official website and is based on a voluntary donation.
Children under 12 participate free of charge (registration form required). Special participation rules apply to minors, including parental consent forms and accompaniment requirements (full details available on the event page).

Rocanotherworld is an exploratory festival of music, art, thoughts, people, and ideas, founded in Iași in 2016 in memory of Ioan Dan Niculescu and organized by Asociația Industrii Creative and Showberry. It represents a collective journey, a state of mind, a celebration of life through reconnecting with values, a vibrant cultural experience, and a way of being—curious, different, and for others.
Asociația Industrii Creative organizes the Rocanotherworld and Classix festivals in Iași, with the mission of revitalizing the city’s cultural landscape, engaging creative communities, and encouraging civic involvement through initiatives that promote a proactive, contributive, and participatory spirit.
Showberry is a startup and winner of the “Invest in People!” program. Since 2015, it has developed cultural and creative projects and has become one of the leading promoters of public concerts and themed events in North-Eastern Romania. Since 2016, it has co-organized Rocanotherworld and, since 2020, Classix Festival alongside Asociația Industrii Creative.
