Rocanotherworld celebrates its tenth edition between June 19 and 22, 2025, in Iași, in Bârnova, in the vineyards of the Gramma Wines winery. United by the three values that guide the festival, #becurious, #bedifferent and #beforothers, participants are expected to enjoy concerts, DJ sets, recreational and educational activities, silent disco and many other related activities.
Among the recently announced names are: Photons[FR], Îngeli și Corbi, Emo Reunion, Eduard Draude, Cristu, Spacenoodles, Amivers, Alien and Donisan, who join the artists already confirmed in the previous waves: Villagers [IE], Zdob și Zdub[MD], Bedouin Soundclash[CA], Vița de Vie, The Mono Jacks, byron & Classix Quartet, Omul cu Șobolani, Partizan, Toulouse Lautrec, Pinholes, The Kryptonite Sparks, E-AN-NA, Cuibul[MD], Dl Goe, Claro Que No, Gala[UA] and Charlie the Rabbit King.
This year’s edition comes with a significant expansion of the spaces dedicated to related activities: a new wellness area, workshops for children and dialogue sessions on social and cultural themes will complete the experience of participants at Rocanotherworld 2025. The food court area will also host an extensive selection of food trucks with sustainable and local options. Keeping the sustainable direction, the organizers together with partners will implement a recycling and selective collection system this year as well, as well as a program to encourage alternative transportation.

Among the initiatives supported annually by Rocanotherworld is the collection of food and products for stray animals in Iași shelters – Do you have a blanket?. On June 21 and 22, between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM, animal lovers are welcome to bring food, medicine for homeless puppies and cats in Iași, and anything they have left over from home: old clothes, carpets, blankets, cleaning products (chlorine, detergent, disinfectant, etc.).

Starting June 1st and until the end of the festival, people who purchase tickets or subscriptions with a Banca Transilvania card benefit from a 20% discount. The discount is automatically applied in the purchase platform, at check-out, by selecting “BT” as the payment method.
Rocanotherworld maintains its commitment to accessibility and inclusion, through a series of ticket categories designed to meet the needs of its audience. To support the participation of young people in cultural events, pupils and students benefit from a 50% discount on tickets and subscriptions, based on a supporting document presented at the entrance. In the same spirit, people with disabilities and their companions have free access, by completing an online form. Children under 12 can participate for free, accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Subscriptions are adapted to different categories of audience, and group tickets come with advantageous prices for those who choose to participate together. Day tickets have also been launched, dedicated to those who wish to participate only in certain activities.

Rocanotherworld is an exploratory festival of music, art, thoughts, people and ideas, which was born in Iași in 2016, in memoriam Ioan Dan Niculescu, and is organized by the Creative Industries Association and Showberry. It represents a collective journey, a state of mind, a celebration of life through (re)connection to values, a cultural effervescence and a shaping of the way of being – curious, different and for others.
Asociația Industrii Creative is the organizer of the Rocanotherworld and Classix festivals in Iași, aiming at the cultural revitalization of the city, engaging creative communities and involving society in civil life through actions that promote a proactive, contributory and participatory spirit.
Showberry is a winning startup of the Invest in People program! Since 2015, it has been developing cultural and creative projects, being one of the main promoters of public concerts and thematic events in the northeastern region of Romania. Since 2016, it has been a co-organizer of the Rocanotherworld festival and since 2020 of the Classix Festival, together with the Creative Industries Association.
