After enjoying together the coolest artists from the first wave of the line-up, it’s time to announce even more names that will turn the Rocanotherworld Mainstage into an unforgettable experience. At the same time, they are joined by the first names that will heat up the spirits for the Electro Stage. These artists bring with them a mix of diversity and passion, which promises to transform the festival into a real oasis of creativity.
The ninth edition of the festival will take place between June 20-23, 2024, in Iasi, and the line-up on the Rocanotherworld 2024 Main Stage is joined by Deliric x Silent Strike, Coma, Jurjak, Fără Zahar and Denorm, and the first artists announced on the electronic music scene are Rosario Internullo and Gala (UA).
Rocanotherworld is more than just a music festival. It is a journey full of discoveries in the world of music, art, thought and people, initiated in 2016 in Iași, in memory of Ioan Dan Niculescu, and organized by the Creative Industries Association and Showberry.
The festival is a vibrant and diverse environment where participants (re)connect to values, celebrating life through curiosity, individuality and caring for others. In Rocanotherworld 2024, under the motto of balance, the energy of live performances is gracefully combined with the variety and dynamism of related events, which bring the public on the same wavelength of the three fundamental values of the festival: #becurious, #bedifferent and #beforothers.

Rocanotherworld 2024 Mainstage Brings Deliric x Silent Strike, Coma, Jurjak, Sugar Free and Denorm
Deliric fueled his passion for hip-hop from an early age, being fascinated by the genre’s poetry and rhythms. Founder of Facem Records, the first independent hip-hop label in Romania and member of the band C.T.C., he became known for his sincerity and transparency expressed in his music. His collaboration with Silent Strike spawned landmark tracks such as “Ambrozie” (2011) that cemented their reputation in the music industry.
One of Romania’s most beloved alternative rock bands, Coma, takes the stage again at Rocanotherworld 2024. It was formed in the early 2000s, being composed of former members of the bands Daft Allison and Ska Burger. Their debut album, “Sleep”, released in 2001, was a notable success, earning them a nomination for Best Alternative Band at the 2002 Romanian Music Industry Awards. Over the years, Coma has supported numerous concerts in the country and participated in various important festivals. In 2024, the band reunited in its current formula, consisting of Cătălin Chelemen (vocals), Răzvan Albu (drums), Dan Costea (vocals, guitar), Sorin Petrescu (bass guitar), Răzvan Rădulescu (DJ Hefe – scratches , effects, keys) and Matei Tibacu-Blendea (guitar). The band has had the honor of opening concerts for many renowned international bands and artists, including Linkin Park, Korn, Deftones, and Iggy Pop.
Jurjak‘s music is a combination of blues, electro, rock and folk, shaping his own recognizable style from the first chords. New singles “Vorbe din popor”, “Doar în zori” and “Medusa” continue to express this, anticipating his fourth studio album. George Petroșel, known as Jurjak, is not only a talented musician, but also a director, visual artist and licensed in intellectual property law. Quickly, he became one of the most appreciated alternative artists in Romania. To date, he has released three albums “Lemon Blues” (2016), “Blues Berry” (2018), which includes the hit “Miner’s Anthem”, nominated for the Gopo awards for the soundtrack of the movie “Planeta Petrila”, and “Thieves of dreams” (2022).
Fără Zahăr is a band that combines music and humor, exploring various musical genres with comic and satirical lyrics. In their songs, the band combines the characteristics of hip-hop, (“Sandu”, “Lav-stori”), folk, (“D’la munte”, “O, cal premos”), Latin (“Stella”), punk rock (“The MF Song”, “Zob da club”) and metal (“Dunitru”, “Diesel”).
Denorm is a band from Chisinau that comes with an explosive mix of synthwave/retrowave and a healthy dose of metal. Their music has a strong emotional impact, taking listeners on a deep journey through the combination of reverberations and spacious sound, yet maintaining a touch of intimacy. The band was born in 2018 when Jin and Spaceman (Evgeny Bereckelea and Evgeny Oleinic) decided to make this project official after a previous musical collaboration. They brought Mark Perlov and Evgeny Berdea into the team, and soon released the first set of songs recorded live. Since then, Denorm has continued to perform live sessions, shows and release EPs.
First names confirmed for the Electro Stage
Rosario Internullo, the Italian DJ who manages to captivate thanks to his unmistakable style and intense interaction with the audience, will take to the electronic music scene this year, a fact that quickly propelled him to the top of the most loved DJs. According to night.ro, he took second place for three consecutive years in the “best DJ” category and won numerous awards, including best concept, best party and best song. In 2003, he composed the hit “A fost o Vremea”, and in 2007, together with Rhaddoo, they remixed the track and released it under the name “Sentimente” on Desolat Rec by Locodice. The song became a huge hit and was performed by big DJs like Carola, Sven, Carl Cox, Nina Kravitz. He mixed in the top clubs in Romania and Europe, being a constant presence in line-ups alongside famous international DJs such as Joseph Capriati, Solomun, Fat Boy Slim, Tiesto and many others.
GALA, born and raised in Kiev until 2022, will mix on the same stage, she has always loved Hip Hop and Funk music. With 12 years of experience in the music industry, he brings a mixture of old school house and breakbeat to his sets, with a touch of Tech House and Minimal, complemented by Groovy beats. His releases on Mr. Nice guy, Rawsome Records and Blacksoul have brought him international recognition, supported by big name artists such as Jesse Perez, Demuir and Greco (NYC). Since its debut in 2020, it has conquered audiences in Ukraine and countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Georgia and Romania.
The subscriptions were put on sale online at the Early Bird promotional price, and day tickets for pupils and students will be available starting on April 20 and will cost 75 lei / day until May 15 and 100 lei / day from May 16 to June 23 inclusive.
Tickets for children up to the age of 12 are free and are valid in the company of a ticket-paying adult. These can be obtained online at beforeothers.rocanotherworld.com – the “Free Pass” section. Access to the festival is with the free ticket and a proof of age up to 12 years old, i.e. student card or birth certificate (copy or online).
